Professor Manuel Salto-Tellez is a Clinical Consultant Pathologist at the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, the Chair of Molecular Pathology at Queen’s University Belfast (QUB), and the Director of the Precision Medicine Centre at QUB.
He started his medical training cross Spain, Germany, Netherlands, specializing in Histopathology in Edinburgh and London, and in Molecular Pathology in USA. For more than 10 years, he was the Consultant and Senior Consultant in the Department of Pathology, at the National University Hospital (NUH), Singapore, where he also served as the Director of the Diagnostic Molecular Oncology Centre.
Professor Manuel Salto-Tellez is an international leader in Molecular and Digital Pathology. With clinical and diagnostic need as his key research focus, Professor Manuel Salto-Tellez aims to accelerate access to start-of the-art molecular diagnostics to cancer patients.
